Paris metro passes are validated on the first day of use and are consecutive day durations. We advise starting to use a pass earlier in the day to get a maximum use of the ticket on the first day. Each day ends at midnight, it does not run on a 24 hour clock from first use.

Each metro pass is good for subway train, city buses, RER suburban trains (within the proper zone) , the funicular lift at Sacre Coeur, and night buses (Noctambus). Children under age 4 are free on the metro.
